Mammoth Mountain opened last weekend which meant it was time to call up my friends to get together on the hill again for the first time since last winter. It was a gorgeous bluebird day that we spent laughing, taking laps and just having one hell of a good time being back on snow.
The phrase 'snowboarding is more fun with your friends' has never been more true. I'm stoked that we were able to get the band back together again for such an epic good time. There wasn't much open, but that didn't hold us back. We got extra creative with side hits and spent the day chasing each other around.
Tripods, euro carves, sprays galore- we were all stoked to be strapped in, standing sideways once more. Last weekend definitely set a precedent for how epic this winter is going to be.
