Finland say Heck YEAH!!!
Signal has extend it's reach to the farthest, deepest, coldest place on earth.
The Lapland.
Tervetuloa! Siimon Hurtig of Tornio, Finland.
In Lapland it's wicked cold, Santa Claus lives there, they have mass reindeer (no for real) and dudes like Siimon hang out rocking The Signal and
jibbing playgrounds.
even though it's prolly minus 30 Centigrade Siimon doesn't even wear gloves.
Gnarly Bro!
Jake Olson-Freakin' Elm,
shows all you gangsters how to
"pull up your pants and do the rock-a-way"
now Lean Back.
lean back.

Jake Hot Dog Olson-Elm!
While everyone here in the US in A was sleeping.
the Signal team has been over in Japan killing it.
You can see by this amazing shot of Jake,
or as his Japanese fans call him
Jake "HD" OE (that HD stands for Hot Dog, not high def),
Jake has really been loving life out east.
keep sleeping.
Jake will be feathering his mullet and keeping it real with his new Japanese friends.

Signal takes Stratton by storm!
if you didn't know the US open went off this weekend.
some people were standing in the cold starring at the super pipe for 9 hours.
the Signal crew, captained by the newest addition to the Signal family Kris Anderson, was out getting some real work done.
here is a snap shot taken by Chris Beresford of Bode Merrill taking the new Signal park series for a wheeeelie down this sweet wooden rail.
Officially this shot was called "around the trees, through the house, down the stairs to sick wheelie-style-tail-press on a wicked wooden rail."
Nice work kids!
that's our New England style!
keep an eye out for some more of these nice snaps in the near future.

but this one is more or less a must.

Tales from the road
Sales Manager Mike Akins and I just got back from visiting some shops in Northern California. We didnt get to snowboard on this trip, but we're pleased to put names to all the smiling faces we met. The trip started in San Francisco, from there we stopped in Sacramento, and then on to Tahoe.
Along the way we came across a place called Fair Oaks, it's an old town set outside of Sacramento. It was kind of like going back in time, I dont suggest looking for anything to eat in that town because everything closes at 5pm. The craziest thing about Fair Oaks is, they have wild Chickens and Roosters just cruising the township doing whatever they please.
When we finally got into South Lake Tahoe, we met up with Charles and his amazing crew at The BLOCK hotel. The hospitality that was extended to us by these fine people far surpasses any other hotel in all of Tahoe. Thanks again guys, for taking care of us on such short notice!!
After wrapping up in Tahoe, we headed back down towards Oakland, making a stop in San Ramon. We visited a spot called The Shop, if you live in the East bay you should go check it out. Tell Steve that we sent you!!
Here are some pics from the trip. Thanks to, Tahoe Daves, Rip-n-Willes, Snow and Surf, Totally Board, The Shop, and The whole crew at The BLOCK. See you all again soon!!
