I can only hope everyone in the world has a friend like Kevin Willis. If not maybe this is my chance to share him for a moment, give you a glimpse into a person that will inspire you through art, photography, and travel not to mention just being a kick ass guy. I met Kevin sometime around ‘91. He was a friend of a friend who would let us crash on his floor in Bellingham Washington when we would snowboard at Mt. Baker. I’ll never forget meeting him that first day, he was such a pleasure to be around and so creative. He's the kind of inspiring person who makes you look at life a little differently than before.

Since then, Kevin has been traveling regularly to places like Africa and India. He has sculpted figures for many of the Tool videos, shot photos for various friends' bands, and every once in a while a Kevin Willis art show pops up in Seattle or LA.
