Tales From Camp!

Hey Guys,
Its crazy how fast time can fly by when you are having fun. Three session already in the books, which means it is the halfway point for summer boarding. The conditions up here have been amazing despite the warm summer weather. Camp features up on the mountain are so on point, including the new HCSC bag jump. This enormous bag has been helping out so many riders push their levels of progression. All day long there are double corks, double backflips, and any other crazy tricks that one can think of.

When I get off hill I usually grab a hot dog at Cobra Dogs and then Head over to Volcano Cones. This Ice Cream stand has the best flavors of ice cream and sorbet, just ask any camper up here and they will agree. My favorite flavor is mango sorbet and I think I have already had about 50 cones since I have been up here.

One of my favorite afternoon activities is to play dodgeball. All the staff play against the camper and it is an all out war. Neither side has any mercy for the other and everyone throws the balls as hard as they can. After every game my shoes way a few pounds more from the amount of sand that they gather up while I play. As much fun as we have on the mountain riding, we also have just as much fun off hill. New this summer is the jousting ring, which Signature Sessioner's Pat Moore and Chas Guldemond decided to show the campers how its done. Keep checking in to see what else is going on this summer up here at MT Hood.
